Leitz Canada 90mm f/1 Picker X-Ray Lens. This is the cleanest example we've seen online or in-person. Optics are flawless, cosmetics are excellent. No fungus, scratches, or dents. Build quality is scientific-grade and these lenses were marketed in concert with photographic X-Ray equipment by Pickers in the 1970's.

What makes this listing especially unique is the included accessories which allow the lens to be used on modern mirrorless digital camera bodies and as a telescope. The M42 x1 and x. 75 adapters allow attachment of Universal screw-mount and Telescope T-mount accessories, respectively. The focusable ocular allows for human-eye telescope operation at approximately 3.75x infinity magnification (Image #5). For photographic use, this lens cannot reach infinity focus and is interesting as a near-field or macro art lens.

The included m42 iris diaphragm makes it possible to stop the lens down in order to achieve a more useful depth of field and good sharpness (Images #7 & #8). Photographic Usage tips: Focus can be obtained to a distance of approximately 32 inches when using a mirrorless digital camera and low-profile adapter. Adding the iris diaphragm reduces this distance to approximately 17 inches.

On an SLR or DSLR body (not recommended), focus distances are approximately 13 and 11 inches, respectively. In all cases, focus is adjusted by moving the camera or subject.
