Leitz Wetzlar Summicron 5cm f/2.0 DR (Dual-Range) w/ Goggles - MUST READ! Leitz Wetzlar Summicron 5cm f/2.0 DR (Dual-Range) w/ Goggles. This iconic Leica lens is in great working condition and looks great for its age! Our lens comes with the original chrome slip-on front cap, original Leitz close-focus attachment ("goggles"), and the original leather carrying case. Our lens' glass contains a few small cleaning marks however when tested on a digital camera; these marks appear to have zero effect on image quality and the lens is sharp without issue. Barrel is showing light wear from careful use however nothing major and nothing that would effect performance. Perfect for the Leica M 35mm shooter looking for a great Leica lens that focuses close, very shallow DoF, and has the classic "Leica look" to it!
Please Note: This lens should NOT be used on Leica M digital bodies nor non-Leica brand M mount bodies! (such as the Zeiss Ikon ZM, Voigtlander 35mm rangefinders, and others) Lens will not accept close focus attachment on Leica M6 TTL or Leica M7 but will accept lens for standard focus range. Please make yourself familiar with this process, and the costs involved.
