From my personal Leica collection, this is one of the best examples of this lens I have come across. Aperture ring turns smoothly with positive detents between stops. Barrel is very clean and shows little wear, there are some small dings to the front ring but no major dents or anything nasty. Focus is smooth and precise throughout the range and the infinity lock clicks in and out smoothly.

No oil present on aperture blades. Glass is clean and clear with no scratches, flashlight test reveals very little dust and no fungus and a very small amount of haze - this is typical for these old lenses and it is nearly impossible to find a lens that is perfectly clear when looking through it with a flashlight.
