Leitz Leica Summar 5cm f2 Lens, Beautiful Glass, Used on M10 & Film. Up for your consideration is a 1938 vintage Summar with beautiful glass, in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition. Front external glass surface has some minor cleaning marks. All other glass surfaces are MINT and crystal clear.

Rangefinder calibration and actual focused images are spot-on as tested on my M10. The 3 photos in this listing were made with this lens, with a A36 FOOKH lens hood mounted.

Original correct Leica front lens cap. Original Leica metal rear lens cap. Photos are of the actual items listed. Condition: - Front element external surface has faint cleaning marks. All internal glass surfaces and rear external surface are pristine, clear, no scratches, no haze, no fungus.

Internal element edge blacking paint is perfect. Aperture blades are clean, adjustment ring is smooth with light dampening.

Focus action is smooth with light dampening. Light brassing on lens mount, chrome in excellent condition.
