Leica M 28mm f/2.8 Lens ELMARIT-M Leitz Canada ver. II 1978 with original hood
Used Leica 28mm f/2.8 lens for M mount cameras. Far from perfect condition but optics are good and the lens still functions perfectly. Aperture control is neither loose nor tight, clicks into full and half stop positions well. Box and front lens cap have been lost in the decades. There is a speck or discoloration visible in the middle of the front lens element, but this does not show up in photos or affect performance in any way.
There is no mold or hazing and glass is free of scratches. Signs of wear on the metal lens mount (see photo) and some brassing on the barrel. This is a great vintage lens with much more "character" than today's modern optics. It was made in 1978 and will likely still work great in 2078. Sorry to see it go.
