There are no major scratches or stains on the exterior, although there is some small peeling of the plating and some rust. We rate this lens as "Excellent+" as it is relatively clean for an old lens. The aperture blades and focusing ring operate without problems. The optics are generally clear, although some light fogging and fine line scratches can be seen when the lens is exposed to strong light.
