This very rare non-telescoping Leica Leitz Elmar 3.5cm (35mm) f/3.5 wide-angle lens comes with both of its caps. It is for use with LTM L39 M39 screw mount cameras and adapters. It is serial number 580960, and it was made in 1936. There is no haze inside that's typical to Elmars of this age. There are absolutely no scratches on the body of the lens.

Its focus and aperture adjustments are both smooth and its glass is free of any fungus or separation to its elements. There is no oil on its aperture blades. There is no haze within the optics. All mechanical functions work properly.

The focus is smooth and consistent. The aperture stops down properly and the tab is easy to adjust. There is no fungus, debris or separation within the glass.
