Leica 24mm f2.8 Leitz Wetzlar Elmarit-R Lens 24/2.8 Germany S/N 3152822. Overall, this lens is in good condition. Cosmetically, it looks very nice but does have some relatively minor scuffing on the barrel.
It takes excellent, sharp photos and video and I have not noticed any flaws in the image. The glass does have some hazing. However, having used it quite a bit, it doesnt seem to impact image quality. It is very sharp - particularly in the center of the image. There is lots of flaring, but if you are familiar with this lens, you will know it is one of its defining characteristics.
The lens includes a hood but no lens cap. The hood has some scuff (see pictures). The aperture ring moves smoothly and accurately but NOTE that the focus ring is quite tight and probably needs to be lubed. It is definitely useable and I have shot a lot with it as is, but it does not turn like a new lens.
It does turn smoothly though and never gets stuck at any certain point. NOTE - while I usually only sell near mint items, I think this one would be better described as being in good condition.
