Die Linsen sind gereinigt und klar, die Fokussierung geschieht durch Drehen der Optik im Adapter (Schneckengang). Ein 52mm Filtergewinde ist angebracht, um evtl.

ND- oder Polfilter, auch eine längere Gegenlichtblende anzubringen. Der Anschlussring ist aus stabilem Metall, der Fokussier-Adapter aus Kunststoff. This optic is considered to be one of the best projection optics ever. It is a five-lens glass whose scheme is similar to the well-known Leitz Elmarit-M 90 and which achieves similarly high image performance.

Projection optics do not have an aperture and are always used open (here f2.5). The lenses are clean and clear, focusing is done by turning the optics in the adapter (worm gear).

The Colorplan is suitable for full format. A 52mm filter thread is attached to possibly attach ND or polarizing filters, as well as a longer lens hood. The connection ring is made of sturdy metal, the focusing adapter is made of plastic.

Infinite is reached, the close-up is possible up to approx. 30 cm - at 90mm telephoto focal length this can be called a macro function. It provides excellent, small DOF and is also suitable for portraits! - In particular, it has what is sometimes called Leitz magic (or 3D at Zeiss) and is actually a particularly high micro-contrast.
